Well, hello!  I really suck at breaking the ice but being that my other 2 sidekicks are obviously preoccupied, I figured I'd start.

Confirmed! Taylor Lautner Will Be Back in Twilight Sequel

The speculation is over: Taylor Lautner will get to play Jacob Black after all in the Twilight sequel New Moon.

"It was my first instinct that Taylor was, is, and should be Jacob," director Chris Weitz announced in a statement Jan. 7. 

Questions had arisen about whether the 16-year-old could effectively portray his werewolf character, who ages 10 years and grows much taller and bulkier in the film's sequel. But Weitz said Lautner, who's been hitting the gym to build muscle, is "emotionally right for the part" and has the movie studio's full support.

Yay!!!!!  We have be closely following the Twilight series....yes we've been dazzled.  And I am thrilled to hear that Taylor will continue to play Jacob Black.  Although, I am a devout Edward Cullen worshipper, I thought that Taylor was a perfect pick for the wolf character.  He's got the boyish qualities and the physique.  Plus, I found that him and Kristen Stewart have a good chemistry on the set.  

I know they considered to replace Taylor with actor Michael Copon but I am glad they didn't. Sorry Mike.  Can't wait to see the sequel, New Moon that begins filming in March and is rumored to be released in theaters on November 20, 2009.   -C
